From the producing and directing team that brought you "Revenge of the Bridesmaids" comes a new ABC Family made for TV movie called "12 Dates of Christmas". Auditions for the movie's actors is underway in Los Angeles and Toronto, and the extras will be hired in Toronto.
Two time Primetime Emmy nominated James Hayman will direct the telefilm. Hayman served as executive producer, director, and cinematographer on the series "Ugly Betty," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "ER," "Northern Exposure," "The Sopranos," "Joan of Arcadia," "House M.D.," "Drop Dead Diva," "Revenge of the Bridesmaids," among many other TV shows and films.
The script was written by Janet Brownell, Aaron Mendelsohn and Blake Harris, and it tells the story of the gorgeous but clueless Kate Stanton. Kate is stuck on winning back the affection of her jerk of an ex-boyfriend. After she falls down in a department store and is knocked unconscious, she becomes hopelessly stuck in a circular "time warp" in which she is doomed to repeat her unfortunate Christmas Eve over and over until she can embrace true love and the spirit of Christmas.
"Revenge of the Bridesmaids" producer Beth Miller will co-produce with Primetime Emmy nominated Frank von Zerneck under the banner of his Von Zerneck Sertner Films banner.
Principal photography on "12 Dates of Christmas" begins February 28, 2011 in Toronto and runs through March 25, 2011.

Story:
Kate Stanton is an amazing beauty of a woman, but is also fairly oblivious to the spirit of Christmas. She is also stuck on trying to win back her jerk of an ex-boyfriend, even though he has moved on to other women. Kate meets a wonderful man named Miles Dufine on a blind date. However, Kate can't see Miles for the great person he is, because she is caught up in a blinded obsession with her ex. Then Kate becomes stuck in a time warp, forced to relive the same Christmas over and over until she learns to embrace true love.
